"The Prisoner" Task - Shooting

Me and James have been out shooting, which we covered in about 2 days (6th-7th October). It has been going pretty well, we manged to get the shoot of Number 2 (now played by James, I'm playing Number 6), just using the door near the gym changing rooms, that leads onto the stage in the hall. We just used that and a socket switch and to switch to open the door and just got James to stand behind the door and open it. We are quite happy with how it's turned out :) We then started to film the dialogue scenes on the stage, in the wings of the stage, where it had a really good light which we could work with to get the scene down. However we had trouble filming it, with various noices, first from a P.E. teachers given a lecture about Orientearing (or however you spell it, you may notice in past and future blogs, that my spelling and sometimes grammer is terrible) and from Mr Lambs music room, which was right next to the spot we were filming, so we eventually had to stop and pack up for the day.

The next day went more smoothly. Unfortunatly, the only down side was that, I was put in charge of the camera tripod after filming the other day and I left it at home :p But through the help of Rabab and Ellen, and steady camera holding and work from all 4 of us we got the shot down. We built our own set onf the stage this time, using these large boards with legs to construct a small room, with a table and coffee mug placed in it for I suppose sceneary, and a broom propt up against the set for some reason. More sceneary I suppose :) We got the filiming of the scenes done pretty quickly, with only minor interuptions. The Sgt Pepper Production team are rather happy with what we have, despite the fact there might be afew contunity errors you may notice :p But we are happy none the less and even the greatest films ever made have these errors, so hay-ho. We are are busy editing our footage and hope to have it up soon, so stay tuned :) x

"The Prisoner" Task - Progress

So far progress has been going well for "The Prisoner". Me and James have been spit balling and coming up with ideas for what we want to do with this. So far we have basic sketches on a story board for what we want it too look like, and a couple of ideas on locations. So far the plan is too film on the stage in the main hall, because it's dark and it's got multiple different stage lights and various props we could use. We are so far undecided on where too film some shots, like character Number 2 pressing a button which makes a door open and a shoot of a village, but I'm sure we will get it :) Stay tuned for another update x

"The Prisoner" Task

Me and James have temed up once again to bring another Sgt Peppers Production, this time we have been given a script except from "The Prisoner". We have been given the task of filming it anyway we want. We have from the 5th October to the 16th. We are allowed to decide what the setting looks like (while sticking to certain elements of it, that have already been mentioned in the script), what the characters wear and look like, the camera angles, the effects, basicaly the whole production sha-bang. Stay tuned for updates x
